Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 package chocolate chips
chopped nuts, as desired

Directions:

Cream butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla together.

Add 2 cups flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Spread dough by hand on ungreased 10 x 15 inch cookie sheet. Bake 25 minutes at 350F degrees or until light brown. In pan on top of stove, melt 1 package of chocolate chips.

Spread while warm on cookie mixture and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cut into squares while warm.
