Double Layer Caramel Krispies

3/4 cup margarine
8 cups miniature marshmallows
8 cups puffed rice cereal
14 ounces caramel candies
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
Melt together 1/4 cup of the margarine and half of the marshmallows in the top of a double boiler. Stir in half of the puffed cereal until well mixed. Place mixture in a well greased 9x13 baking dish.
Melt the caramels, 1/4 cup of the margarine, and the sweetened condensed milk. Pour over cereal mixture. Refrigerate while preparing remaining ingredients.
Melt the remaining 1/4 cup of margarine and remaining marshmallows in the double boiler. Stir in remaining cereal.
Remove pan from refrigerator. Spread second batch over the refrigerated batch. Refrigerate until firm.

Way too goey. Halve the caremel and do something non sticky to the top like rainbow sprinkles or drizzle chocolate over them.
