I choose this recipe because it isn't overloaded with garlic like some alfredos are. I add salt and pepper but otherwise like to keep it simple.

Good, simple recipe that is quick to make. The leftovers do freeze well which surprised me because I hadn't usually had good luck freezing dairy but I reheated the alfredo sauce and it was still very good!

My husband thought it was great and loves me to make it often.

Instead of using milk I used half and half. I also used reduced fat cream cheese used less margarine and freshly grated parmesan cheese.

I added to taste, salt, nutmeg and freshly ground pepper, mushrooms and garlic.

To reheat the next day...I used the stove and not the microwave and added a little more half and half to help thin sauce as it reheated.
Will make again it was very good

this was absolutely delicious! i made it for my boyfriend, and my mom actually tried some (the cooking queen!) and said how delish it wass!
the only compliant i got, and have is it is thick, so keep that in mind. I messed with the portions a bit also.

I thought this was a great recipe. My husband doesn't even like pasta dishes, but will eat the seafood alfredo at OG, so I made this and put shrimp in it for him and he loved it. For me, I added broccoli and cauliflower. I sprinkled a little sea salt on it when I reheated it and it was perfect. I will be making it again tomorrow. (We love cream cheese) And I also added garlic powder.

I AGREE WITH MOST.....CREAM CHEESE DOMINATED THIS DISH..NEXT TIME I WILL USE MORE MILK AND A LITTLE LESS CREAM CHEESE. I ALSO ADDED GRILLED CHICKEN,OLIVES AND BROCCOLI.AND OF COURSE SALT AND PEPPER

This recipe was wonderful! To get it to taste more like Olive Garden, I added salt, pepper, and lots of garlic. Top with chicken, brocoli and fresh tomatoes.

This was ok, the sauce is way too thick, will add more milk next time and cut back on the cream cheese. Had good flavor, but not too sure about "olive garden" flavor. Still, will make it again soon, just a little differently.

Try adding a little gorganzola. Yummy.

This was very bland. The cream cheese dominated the recipe, so I reccommend using half as much. It doesn't taste anything like Olive Garden. Try adding some lemon juice, garlic salt, and pepper to make it edible.

I thought it was great. My kids loved it and so did I. I actually made it 3 times in a week. I also added a few things. I added Garlic,Lemon,Salt,Peper. I added a few other things but I changed it every single time to see what way it would taste better.

I added 1/2 tablespoon of nutmeg, 2 jiggers dry sherry, mixed in 3/4 lbs. sea scallops sauteed in 1-1/2 tsp of Old Bay, and poured over 10 oz. cooked penne. Very yummy!

This is an simple but excellent recipe for fettuccine. I have been using this same one for years. Cooking time is short enough to make this a fast meal after working a long day.

Did not taste anything like Olive Garden's Fettucine Alfredo. Wasn't horrible, but was very bland. I made it with brocolli which saved the dish. Otherwise it would have been EXTREMELY bland!

WE ADDED BROILED CHICKEN TO THIS RECIEPE, I WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED THE FIRST NIGHT. IT TASTED TOO MUCH LIKE CREAM CHEESE...BUT WE WARMED IT THE NEXT DAY AND IT WAS WONDERFUL! I RECCOMEND TRYING IT JUST FOR THE LEFTOVERS.
