This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

Up your skillet skills. Ground beef and onions cooked with tomatoes, beans, and rice is a quick and delicious way to feed a hungry group.

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (14 ounce size) tomatoes, undrained, chopped
1 can (15 ounce size) ranch-style beans
1/2 cup uncooked rice
2 tablespoons chili powder
salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
1 cup water
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain. Add tomatoes, beans, rice, seasonings, and water.
Cover, bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
Top with shredded cheese. Cook another 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
