Aunt Beth's Meatloaf Recipe

Serves/Makes: 6
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 onion chopped
1 egg
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
2 cans (8oz. size) tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 strips bacon
Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Mix the beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, pepper and 1 can of the tomato sauce. Form into a loaf and put in a shallow pan. Combine the remaining tomato sauce and all of the other ingredients except bacon and parmesan cheese and pour over meat loaf.
Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese. Place the bacon on top of the meatloaf and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Basting occasionally.
