Eh, this was ok. Kinda just a soupy beefy rice dinner. Salty but not really flavorful.

Okay, seriously, I'm not a good cook and I really don't know that much about cooking. So as long as I follow the recipe everything should come out right...wrong. This recipe said add 1/2 cup rice but by the time the 5 hours was over, the rice was the consistency of oatmeal. The flavor of the recipe was good but the texture...barely edible. I'm going to play around with this recipe, maybe add the rice the last hour, or use potatoes. I don't know...does anyone know what the correct way is for this recipe??
CDKitchen Note: Uncooked rice will need longer than an hour to cook in the slow cooker. If you use instant rice, you could add it during the last hour, but regular rice (long grain) really needs more time.
