Cheese Pie Recipe

Serves/Makes: 8
Ingredients:
1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese
2 eggs, separated
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 dash of salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sweet milk (regular, whole milk)
1 unbaked pie shell (10 inch), chilled
Directions:
Soften cream cheese. In a mixing bowl, combine cheese, egg yolks, sugar, flour, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add evaporated milk a bit at a time and beat until smooth. Gradually add remaining milk. (The milk would probably mix in smoother if it was warmed to room temp.) Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
Pour into chilled, unbaked pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 F; then 15 minutes at 375 F; then 15 minutes at 325 F. Serve with a drizzle of molasses.
