Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup whipping cream
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
bananas, sliced

Directions:

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together.

Whip cream until fairly stiff. Beat eggs until very light, and then fold gently into whipped cream.

Fold in flour mixture, a little at a time. Add vanilla.

Bake in 2 greased 9" cake pans at 375° for about 35 minutes, or until wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool.

Serve each piece with sliced bananas, and additional whipped cream.
