Macaroni And Ground Beef Casserole

2 cups macaroni pasta
1 1/2 cup grated cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon Accent
salt and pepper
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or tomato soup)


Cook macaroni; drain. Fry meat and onions together. Drain off fat.

In bottom of casserole dish put half the macaroni, put all of meat and onions. Salt and pepper to taste. Put remaining macaroni in.

Top with grated cheese. Pour soup over this. Sprinkle on paprika on top.

Bake at 350 degrees F until bubbly and brown.

Are you sure you are not supposed to reconstitute the cream of mushroom soup? It seems gloppy on top and that the finished product might be on the dry side.
