Easy Meatball Minestrone

4 cans (14.5 ounce size) beef broth
1 package (16 ounce size) frozen mixed vegetables
1 package (16 ounce size) frozen prepared meatballs
1 can (15 ounce size) small white beans, drained, rinsed
1 can (14.5 ounce size) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/4 cup tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup small shell pasta
shredded Parmesan cheese, (optional)
Combine broth, vegetables, meatballs, beans, tomatoes with their liquid, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper in large saucepan or Dutch oven.
Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-high; add pasta. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until pasta is tender. Garnish with cheese, if desired.
