REVIEW: 5 star recipe rating
I omitted the potatoes, cubed the round steak and then served it with the gravy and veggies over mashed potatoes. YUMMY!

My crock doesn't have a medium setting so I cooked this on low for about 7 hours and the meat was really tender. The gravy was awfully thin though so I'd reduce the water to like 1/4 cup instead.
