Mushroom Steak Recipe

Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
1/4 cup flour
1 dash pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can full of water
1 1/2 pound round steak, about 3/4" thick
2 tablespoons shortening
Directions:
Combine flour and pepper. Pound into steak with meat hammer. In large skillet, brown steak on both sides in shortening. Add soup and water. Cover, cook on low heat about 45 minutes or until tender. Stir every now and then.
