ingredients
1 quart water 1 cup sugar 1 cup fresh lemon juice sparkling water (not tonic water, like Perrier)
directions
Mix first three together. Fill a tall glass 2/3 to 3/4 with Lemon mixture then fill with sparkling water.
cook's notes
An interesting variation is to puree some fruit (raspberries, strawberries, etc) with a little superfine or powdered sugar and put that in the glass before adding the the lemonade and water.

Great recipe. I used half a cup of sugar and it was just fine.
50% lemon+sugar+water mix, 50% seltzer water in place of sparkling water. Delicious.

I don't know if this is like Applebee's or not but it's good lemonade. I did the variation with adding some raspberry puree to it and that was quite good. You can adjust either the sugar or lemon juice, of course.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.
