Sweet Chocolate Fondue

ingredients
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup light cream
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 dash salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon liqueur, such as amaretto, kirsch, brandy (optional)
directions
Heat all ingredients except vanilla extract and liqueur in fondue pot on high, stirring occasionally until chocolate is melted. Reduce heat to medium.
Continue cooking, stirring constantly for about five minutes or until thickened. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
Reduce heat to low for serving. Dip cut up fruit and cubed angle cake and cubed french bread or pretzels. Even try breadsticks.. they are great.
