Pasta Meatball Soup
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup uncooked spiral or shell pasta
32 frozen meatballs, thawed
2 cans (14 1/2 ounce size) chicken broth
1 can (28 ounce size) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 1/2 cup frozen sliced carrots, thawed
1 can (16 oz. size) kidney beans, rinsed and draiend
1 jar (14 oz. size) meatless spaghetti sauce
1 jar (4 1/2 oz. size) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup frozen peas
DIRECTIONS:
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in a soup kettle or Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Drain pasta and add to the soup. Heat through.
