Rhubarb Dream Dessert

ingredients
CRUST
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
FILLING
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup flour
6 cups diced rhubarb
1 small package wild strawberry gelatin, optional
directions
For Crust: Mix all the above ingredients with pastry cutter or by hand and pat evenly in a 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.
For Filling: Using the same bowl you mixed the crust in, whisk together first 4 filling ingredients. Add rhubarb (and jello mix if using).
Pour into partially baked crust and distribute evenly. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes or until rhubarb is tender and top is lightly browned.
Serve warm or cold. Refrigerate leftovers.
