All your favorite ingredients from traditional stuffed bell peppers are mixed into one easy and delicious slow cooked soup.

1 1/2 pound ground beef, browned and drained
3 cups diced green bell peppers
1 can (28 ounce size) diced peeled tomatoes
1 can (28 ounce size) tomato sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups cooked rice
seasonings, to taste
Mix all ingredients except cooked rice in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until green peppers are cooked. Add cooked rice; turn heat to high and cook for 20-30 minutes.

This really does taste like stuffed peppers. It was great. I served incividual portions with cheddar cheese on top.

I tried this soup and LOVED it as well as my family. If you love stuffed peppers this soup is for you...easy to make and great to eat.
