Georgian Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups unbroken pecan meats
1 unbaked pie crust, 9"
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup bourbon
Directions:
Arrange 1 cup whole pecan halves in bottom of pie crust. Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in everything but remaining pecans. Chop reserved cup of pecans and fold into mixture. Pour over whole pecans and place in 450F oven. Reduce heat to 375F and bake 20 min, until done.
