Spicy Shrimp Stir Fry

ingredients
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce or more
2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 bunch green onions, cleaned and cut into one inch lengths
hot cooked rice
directions
In small bowl, combine stock, sugar,soy sauce, sesame oil, hoisin sauce and Tabasco to taste; set aside.
Heat wok or large skillet; add peanut oil and stir-fry garlic and ginger for one minute. Add green onions and stir-fry for one to two minutes longer, until shrimp are pink.
Add contents of bowl and bring liquid to a boil; then cover and simmer for two minutes. Serve immediately over hot cooked rice.
