Chocolate Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs, at room temperature
3 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cup milk, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Beat butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients in four additions, alternately with milk; add vanilla. Mix well. Turn batter into prepared pan. Bake 1-1/4 hours. Let cool for ten minutes before turning out of pan.
