Fresh Blackberry Pie

1 quart fresh blackberries, washed & drained
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 double-crust pie pastry (9-inch size)
1 tablespoon butter
Mix blackberries with sugar, salt, and flour. Fill pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust and cut 3 or 4 slits in the top.
Bake in a preheated 450 degrees F oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake 25 minutes longer.
