Sun's out, spice's out. This no-salt seasoning mixes garlic, cumin, and a bit of heat for a tasty option that goes well on just about anything.

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon celery seeds
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon dried lemon peel

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

This is one of the better no salt mixes I've tried. I have to watch my sodium but always hate the substitutes that don't really add anything to a dish but rather cover up the fact there is no salt. This one adds flavor and actually enhances the flavor of the food like salt does. Thank you for a wonderful recipe. I quadruple it and keep it on hand.
