Raspberry Oatmeal Muffins

ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg
2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, not thawed
directions
In one bowl, combine oats and buttermilk. Let stand for 5-10 minutes.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon. Beat eggs, stir in brown sugar and oil. Blend. Stir in oats mixture, then flour. Gently fold in fruit.
Pour into muffin tins. Bake at 370 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.

I made these but was confused because it talks about folding in oil and oil isn't listed as an ingredient so I addea a 1/4 cup of canola??
Sounds like a great recipe but how much oil do I add?
I'm just guessing, but try about 3 tbsp.
