The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Perfect Peanut Butter Bread

ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup light or dark corn syrup
2 eggs
1 cup milk
directions
Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat peanut butter and corn syrup until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time.
Alternately add flour mixture and milk. Mix on low speed just until moistened. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
