Homemade Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

Serves/Makes: 6
Ingredients:
1/2 pound elbow macaroni
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
1 1/2 cup milk (2%)
2 eggs, slightly beaten
4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese - divided
Directions:
Cook and drain macaroni, but do not rinse. Spray the crockpot, or slow cooker, with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, mix everything except 1 cup of cheese. Pour into cooker and top with last cup of cheese. Cover tightly. Cook on low for 6 hours. Do not remove the lid until it is finished cooking.
I like to use 2 cups of mild cheddar and 2 cups of sharp cheddar. This recipe is for a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker and will feed 4 or 5. It can easily be doubled for a larger crockpot and family.
