Pasta With Spinach And Sausage

ingredients
1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cans (14.5 ounce size) spicy diced tomatoes
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 package (about 6 ounce size) fresh baby spinach
1 pound pasta, cooked, drained, kept warm
directions
Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until crumbled and no longer pink. Remove; keep warm.
Wipe out pan; add oil. Cook garlic and onion about 3 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes and nutmeg; continue to cook about 10 minutes over medium heat. Add spinach and stir just until leaves have wilted.
Toss tomato-vegetable mixture with sausage and pasta until well blended.
