Cafe Brulot Recipe

Serves/Makes: 1
Ingredients:
1 small strip finely pared orange peel
1 cinnamon stick (1" size)
1 whole clove
1 teaspoon brown sugar
6 ounces black coffee
2 tablespoons brandy
Directions:
Put the orange peel, cinnamon stick, clove, sugar and coffee in a small pan and gradually bring to just below boiling point. Strain into a warmed coffee cup or heatproof glass.
Warm the brandy in a soup ladle, ignite and carefully pour, flaming, into the hot coffee.
