Eggless White French Dressing

ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 cup oil
directions
Blend together all but oil. Cook over medium high heat stirring until boils. Reduce and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool completely. Gradually beat in oil with electric mixer.

This recipe is fantastic! It is the third recipe I tried for white french dressing and by far the best. I also used this recipe for bleu cheese vinaigrette. I only used 2/3 cup of oil to make it tangier and added bleu cheese crumbles. White wine vinegar works well. Delicious!!
