Apple Oat Bread

Serves/Makes: 1 loaf    |   Ready In: 1-2 hrs

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup uncooked rolled oats
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup corn oil
3 egg whites, at room temp
3 cooking apples, diced

Directions:
In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and allspice. In a small bowl, beat honey, milk, oil, and egg whites. Stir into flour mixture just until moistened. Fold in apples.

Spread in loaf pan coated with nonstick vegetable cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 65 minutes.

Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes and remove bread from pan. Cool on wire rack.
