Ingredients: 1 large round steak, trimmed and cut in 1" pieces 1 large onion, peeled and cut 3 potatoes, peeled and cut small 2 carrots, peeled and cut in small pieces 1 can (28 ounce size) tomatoes, blended in blender, PLUS 1 can (16 ounce size) tomatoes, blended in blender 1 can (15 ounce size) peas, drained (optional) oregano oil
Directions: Put oil, onion and meat in covered baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Blend tomatoes. Add to meat with carrots, potatoes, and oregano. Cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender and vegetable are done. You may add drained, canned peas at this point if you desire.
A nice helping of mashed potatoes is a great accompaniment (even though this dish has potatoes in it), along with a green salad and some rolls.
