Thai Spring Roll Dipping Sauce CDKitchen https://www.cdkitchen.com Serves/Makes: 1 cup | Ready In: 1-2 hrs
Ingredients: 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons fish sauce OR 1 tablespoon soy sauce 2 teaspoons red chili peppers, ground 1/2 carrot, shredded 1/4 cup peanuts, coarsely chopped
Directions: In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and add the red wine vinegar, fish sauce and red chili pepper. Mix well.
Pour sauce in a serving bowl. Chill. Top with carrots and peanuts just before serving.
