Ingredients: 1 package (18 ounce size) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough 2 packages (8 ounce size) cream cheese, at room temperature 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 large ripe bananas, mashed 2 eggs 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup chocolate chips 2 tablespoons butter
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Press the cookie dough into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven. Do not overcook.
In bowl of an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, sugar and bananas. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in walnuts and pour over cookie dough.
Return pan to oven and bake for 40 minutes, until just set in center. Remove from oven. Using a small knife or spatula, remove cake from rim of pan. Cool on wire rack. Chill.
Place chocolate chips and butter in a microwaveable bowl and microwave on high, stopping to stir every 10 to 15 seconds, until chocolate is about halfway melted. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over cheesecake. Chill.
