
Beef And Pasta Alfredo

8 ounces uncooked penne pasta
1 pound lean ground beef
3 green onions, sliced
1 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
3 Italian plum tomatoes, quartered, sliced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
salt and pepper, to taste
Cook the pasta in salted, boiling water until al dente. Drain well.
Meanwhile, heat a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef. Cook, stirring frequently, until no longer pink. Drain well.
Add the green onion and alfredo sauce to the skillet and reduce the heat to medium. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is heated through, about 5 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta, tomatoes, and basil to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Serve the beef alfredo hot.
