
Barbecue Pork Loin Ribs

***Ribs***
4 pounds pork loin back ribs or pork spareribs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
2 medium onions, sliced
***Barbecue Sauce***
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup prepared mustard, yellow or Dijon
1 bottle (14 ounce size) ketchup
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Cut the ribs into 2-rib portions. Season with the salt and pepper on all sides. Place in the crock pot.
Top the ribs with the garlic and sliced onions.
Combine all the ingredients for the barbecue sauce in a bowl. Mix well. Pour evenly over the ribs.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until the ribs are tender.
