
Macaroni And Pea Salad

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni pasta
1 package (10 ounce size) frozen peas, thawed and drained
1 cup cubed Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2/3 cup salad dressing such as Miracle Whip (low-fat or fat-free is fine)
1 teaspoon dried dill
salt and pepper, as needed
Cook the pasta as directed on the package until al dente. Drain it well, then place it in a bowl. Stir in the peas, cheese, and green onion.
Fold in the salad dressing and dill. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.
If the salad seems dry, add additional salad dressing just before serving. Adjust the seasoning as needed with salt and pepper, if desired.
