
Ben and Jerry's Heath Bar Crunch Ice Cream

4 full size Heath toffee candy bars
2 large eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Chop the candy bars into 1/2-inch pieces. Place the candy in the freezer.
Meanwhile, whisk the eggs in a large bowl until uniform in color. Whisk in the sugar and mix for one minute.
Whisk the cream, milk, and vanilla into the egg mixture and beat until it is uniform in color.
Transfer the mixture to the ice cream maker and process as directed by the machine manufacturer. Just before the ice cream is the desired consistency, add the frozen candy pieces and continue to process the ice cream until it is done.
