Ingredients: 6 cups rolled oats 2 cups mixed nuts and seeds such as sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, chopped walnuts, pecans, almonds, or cashews 1 cup dried unsweetened shredded coconut 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste 1 dash salt 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup, or to taste 1 cup raisins or chopped dried fruit, optional
Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine the oats, nuts and/or seeds, coconut, cinnamon, salt, and honey in a bowl and mix well to coat everything. Spread the granola mixture in an even layer on a sheet pan. Place the pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until lightly browned and crisp.
Remove the pan from the oven and place on a cooling rack. Stir the raisins or dried fruit into the granola. Let the granola cool to room temperature then store in an airtight container.
