Ingredients: 1 package (18.25 ounce size) white cake mix 1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix 2 cups milk, PLUS 1/2 cup milk 1 large container frozen whipped topping, thawed 1 cup chopped nuts 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1 can (20 ounce size) crushed pineapple, well-drained 1 package coconut
Directions: Mix and bake cake mix in wax paper lined 9" X 13" pan. Remove cake and cool. Slice lengthwise into 2 layers.
Prepare pudding except use only the 2 cups milk; set aside. Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup milk until thick. (Takes a while). Combine pudding and cheese mixture.
Put first layer of cake on platter and spread with 1/2 of cream cheese mixture, then spread with 1/2 of pineapple, whipped topping, coconut and nuts. Put top cake layer on and repeat layers. Refrigerate.
