
Fresh Salsa Picante

3 medium fresh tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 Anaheim chile, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon lime juice (or lemon)
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Combine the tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, chile, and cilantro in a bowl. Sprinkle with the garlic, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, and garlic salt. Toss gently to combine.
Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.
Serve with tortilla or corn chips. Store leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
