CDKitchen https://www.cdkitchen.com
Serves/Makes: 1 gallon | Ready In: 2-5 hrs
9 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 can (12 ounce size) frozen orange juice concentrate, slightly thawed
1 can (12 ounce size) frozen lemonade, slightly thawed
2 cups vodka
7-up or Sprite, as needed
Combine the water and sugar in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to a simmer. Let simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in the orange juice, lemonade, and vodka and mix well.
Divide the orange mixture between two large baking dishes (11x7 or 9x13). Place the baking dishes in the freezer for 2-3 hours. Stir the mixture occasionally until the liquid has become slushy (it won't freeze completely).
To serve, fill glasses 1/2 to 3/4 full of the orange slush. Top with 7-up or Sprite. Garnish with a mint sprig, if desired. Serve immediately.
