Ingredients: ***Crust*** 1 package (2 layer size) yellow cake mix 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 egg, beaten ***Filling*** 1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 egg, beaten 1 cup toffee bits 1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions: Preheat oven to 350F.
Crust: In a large bowl combine cake mix, butter and egg; blend at low speed until crumbly. Press into the bottom of an ungreased l3 x 9 baking pan. Bake at 350F for l5 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
Filling: In bowl combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and egg; mix well. Stir in toffee bits and walnuts. Pour filling evenly over warm base.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until filling is set. Let cool to room temperature before cutting into squares.
