CDKitchen https://www.cdkitchen.com
Serves/Makes: 6 | Ready In: 1-2 hrs
3 pounds chicken wings, tips removed, separated into flats and drummies
2 tablespoons oil
salt and pepper
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons chili sauce
1 cup honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Place the wings in a shallow baking dish (they should not be crowded). Drizzle them with the oil, turning to coat them completely in the oil. For best results, rub the oil onto the wings with your hands.
Season the wings with salt and pepper.
Place the wings in the oven and bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Combine the soy sauce, chili sauce, honey, and garlic powder. Drizzle the wings with the mixture, turning to coat them completely.
Return the wings to the oven and reduce the heat to 375 degrees F. Bake the wings for 45 minutes or until cooked through. If the wings start to brown too much, reduce the heat to 350 degrees F or cover the wings lightly with foil.
Remove the honey baked chicken wings from the oven and serve hot, warm, or chilled.
