Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg, beaten 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup flour PLUS 2 tablespoons flour, sifted 1/2 teaspoon soda 1 tablespoon hot water 6 ounces Semisweet chocolate, coarse chopped 1 cup Pecans chopped coarse 1 pound milk chocolate pieces 4 ounces paraffin
Directions: Preheat oven @ 375 F. Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Sift salt and flour together. Dissolve soda in hot water. Add flour and soda water alternatly to creamed mixture. Add semisweet chocolate pieces and chopped pecans.
Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Let cool thoroughly. Melt milk chocolate, add paraffin and blend. Dip cookies in milk chocolate covering half the cookie.
Place on wax-paper lined cookie sheet. Set in a cool place for 1-2 hours to set.
