Ingredients: 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup red wine or red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons bottled steak sauce 1/2 onion, sliced 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme salt and pepper, to taste 1 1/2 pound round steak
Directions: Combine all the ingredients except the steak in a zip-top plastic bag. Seal the bag and mix well. Add the steak to the bag and reseal. Turn the bag to coat the steak in the marinade.
Place the sealed bag in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
When ready to cook, preheat the broiler or a grill.
Remove the steak from the bag and discard the marinade.
Place the steak on a broiler pan and broil 4-5 inches away from the heat until done as desired. Or, place the steak on a grill and grill until desired doneness, turning once during the cooking time.
Let the steak rest for 5 minute before slicing and serving.
