Ingredients: 2 packages (14 ounce size) caramels, unwrapped 1/4 cup water 8 apples
Directions: Combine the caramels and water in a crock pot. Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 1 1/2 hours or until the caramels are melted. Stir the caramel frequently during the cook time.
Rinse and dry the apples. Insert a wooden stick in the stem end of each apple.
Dip each apple into the caramel mixture, turning to coat the entire apple and letting any excess drip back into the crock pot.
Place the coated apples on waxed paper to cool.
