
5 Layer Taco Dip

1 container (16 ounce size) sour cream, low fat is fine
2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
1 can (6 ounce size) sliced black olives
1 cup diced fresh tomatoes
2 bunches green onions, chopped
2 ripe avocados, pits removed, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise, low fat is fine
1 can (9 ounce size) bean dip
8 ounces freshly shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Combine the sour cream and taco seasoning in a bowl. Mix well. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours before assembling the dip.
When ready to assemble the taco dip, combine the black olives, diced tomatoes, and chopped green onion in a bowl and mix gently.
In another bowl, mash together the avocado, lemon juice, and mayonnaise.
Spread the bean dip in the bottom of a glass pie plate or baking dish for the first layer. Spread the avocado mixture evenly over the bean dip layer. Spread the seasoned sour cream mixture over the avocado layer.
Evenly sprinkle the tomato mixture over the sour cream then top with the shredded cheese.
Serve the dip immediately with tortilla chips.
