
St. Patrick's Day Jell-O Shots

1 box (3 ounce size) lime jell-o
1 box (3 ounce size) lemon jell-o
2 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup Irish whiskey
Empty the jell-o packets into a bowl. Stir in the boiling water and mix until the jell-o is completely dissolved.
Stir the cold water into the jell-o, then stir in the whiskey.
Pour the jell-o shot mixture into plastic shot glasses (or small disposable plastic cups). Place in the refrigerator and chill until set (about 1-2 hours but it will depend on the size of the shot glasses).
You can also pour the jell-o mixture into a square pan and chill. When set, cut into cubes to serve.
This recipe works well with sugar-free jell-o as well.
