Ingredients: 1 cup lard 1 cup crunchy peanut butter 1/3 cup sugar 1 cup whole wheat flour 2 cups oatmeal 2 cups cornmeal
Directions: *DO NOT SUBSTITUTE SHORTENING FOR LARD
Melt lard and peanut butter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Optional additions include raisins, nuts, or birdseed.
Pour mixture into a pan and chill overnight. Then cut into squares to fit in suet basket and store unused portion in refrigerator.
