
Bacardi Chocolate Rum Cake

1 package chocolate cake mix
1 package (4 serving size) instant chocolate pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cup cold milk
1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum
1 package (4 serving size) instant chocolate pudding mix
1 envelope Dream Whip whipped topping mix
Combine the cake mix, first package of pudding mix, eggs, rum, water, and oil in a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pans. Place in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until done.
Remove the pans from the oven and let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes then remove the cakes and let cool completely on wire racks.
In another bowl, combine the cold milk, rum, remaining pudding mix, and whipped topping mix. Beat on high speed with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Cut each cake layer in half horizontally (if desired). Spread the frosting between the layers as you stack the cakes. Then spread the frosting on the top and sides.
