Popcorn Fudge
CDKitchen https://www.cdkitchen.com
Serves/Makes: 50 pieces    |   Ready In: 30-60 minutes

Ingredients:
2 quarts freshly popped, salted popcorn
1 package (12 ounce size) chocolate chips (milk or semisweet)
1 jar (7.5 ounce size) marshmallow creme
1/4 cup light corn syrup

Directions:
Butter a 10x15 jelly roll pan and set aside.

Heat the oven to 250 degrees F. Spread the freshly popped popcorn on a baking sheet and place in the oven to keep warm.

In a heavy 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, combine the chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, and corn syrup. Stir the mixture occasionally until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is a uniform color.

Place the warm popcorn in a large bowl. Pour the chocolate mixture over the popcorn and stir with a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients. Stir until the popcorn is completely coated.

Press the fudge into the buttered pan. Let it cool completely (about 30 minutes) then break into pieces. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
